Stop in to select a large print book from our collection of 7,000 large print titles shelved at the main library or 15,000 volumes kept at the minibranch libraries. The Outreach Librarians are always available to help you in selecting materials.

Literacy/ESL Resources
There is a special Literacy Collection in the Outreach Department for adults who are trying to improve their reading or English language skills. Books, audio tapes, videos and some CD-ROMs are available to check out, and many Internet Literacy Resources are available on the Internet.

Caregiver Resources
Browse the Caregiver Collection in the Outreach Department when you are looking for information on Alzheimer's disease, selecting a nursing home, or pondering any question related to taking care of an elderly person.  Many Internet Caregiver Resources are also helpful.

Reminiscence Materials
BiFolkal kits and other reminiscence materials, which encourage reflection and expression in older adults are available to activity directors at senior complexes and nursing homes in Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township.
