TRAIN FEST
TRAIN
FEST is an exhibition of model railroading for the public that is put on every
other year by the Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club. This is not a flea market, but railroad products will be on
display. Layouts and trains in G, O,
HO, and N scales will be running. This
will includes Stoney Creek’s own modular HO layout. Free clinics will be offered on basic model railroad techniques
such as scenery, trackwork, and wiring.
Hobbyists will be on hand to answer all your questions. Hourly drawing will be done for railroad
raffle prizes. Activities will be
provided for the youngest rail fans such as face painting and coloring
contests.
The
most resents TRAIN FEST was held in November of 2001. Well received by the public, it had an attendance of 1200 during
its two-day run.
