Got paperback books you don't want anymore? Bring them to our swap night and leave with a new selection of summer entertainment! For every book you bring, you get to take a different one home. Books should be in good shape and for a teen or adult audience- no kid's books, please. Manga Workshop Manga expert Mary Zdral will teach teens the basics of drawing manga-style comics in this hands-on workshop. Please register for this event using our Events Calender starting on May 31.
Full Impact, a Rochester area teen theater company, will share a 30 minute preview of their summer production of King Lear. All ages welcome! Come to the library just before it closes for after hours Hide & Seek and Sardines in the dark! You must pre-register for this program and have a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. This pizza & prize party is for any teen who completes our Summer Reading Challenge. We'll have the grand prize drawings as well as other door prizes, games, food, and a freebie table.
Teen Writer's Workshop Interested in writing fiction or poetry? Come to this afternoon session and meet other teen writers, share your own work, learn tips and pointers, and enjoy snacks. Videogame Days Drop in for excellent gaming times with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart, Rock Band, DJ Hero, Guitar Hero, and more. Games will be rated T or E. Ages 13 to 18 are welcome. No younger siblings or parents...sorry! A casual club for teens who enjoy graphic novels, manga, anime, videogames, and ridiculous youtube clips. Often includes spontaneous games and/or dance parties. Always includes snacks. Come chill with us, we love new faces!
