Starting June 1, sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Challenge online or at the library. Read 4 books by August 10 and you win a prize along with your ticket to the Teen Summer Reading Finale on August 16. Those who finish will also have a chance to win an Ipad mini!

Got paperback books you don't want anymore? Bring them to our swap night and leave with a new selection of summer entertainment! For every book you bring, you get to take a different one home. Books should be in good shape and for a teen or adult audience- no kid's books, please.

The Go Club of Rochester Hills has found its home at the RHPL! Our goal is to teach Go to all new players and to improve the skills of those already experienced.

The 3000 year-old game has its roots in ancient China and could be considered a highly strategic board game much like Chess. With only three rules, it's easy to learn for all ages!

Stop by and compete for a chance to win prizes and enjoy the highly addicting and exciting experience Go Club can promise you.

All ages are welcome; anyone under 13 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Interested in writing fiction or poetry? Come to this afternoon session and meet other teen writers, share your own work, learn tips and pointers, and enjoy snacks. Now meeting monthly!

Videogame Day with Brawl Tournament

Drop in for excellent gaming times with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart, Rock Band, DJ Hero, Guitar Hero, and more. Games will be rated T or E. Ages 13 to 18 are welcome. No younger siblings or parents...sorry!

We will also have a Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament. Be here no later than 2:45 to join the brackets. 1st and 2nd place get prizes. Regular freeplay also.
