Renovations

What you need to know: Elevator modernization (August–October 2026)

  • The elevator will be out of order (While the entire project will take six to eight weeks, we will return the elevator to service as soon as we safely can.)

  • A librarian will be stationed at the circulation desk on the first floor

  • Computers will be available in the MPR

  • Designated stroller parking will be located at the base of the stairs

  • Increased staffing levels will help you get the materials you need 

  • Accommodations for second-floor services and programming are available on request

To have items collected from the second floor and made available for pick up in the lobby, at the drive-up window, or on the Bookmobile, place a hold in the catalog using your RHPL card.
