April Poetry Month: Poetry Contest and Poetry Program for Adults!

All poets are encouraged to enter the RHPL’s Poetry Contest that starts Monday, April 6th at 9 a.m. Poets may submit up to 3 poems for the contest. Submission for the RHPL’s Poetry Contest ends April 24th, 6 p.m. 

There will be 3 prize winners! The winners’ poem will be announced on April 30th and will be on the RHPL blog.

We will also be hosting a Poetry Open Mic with Detroit Winning Poet, M.L. Liebler on April 12th at 2 p.m. M.L. Liebler will be leading with a poetry open mic along with his band the Magic Poetry Band. A wonderful event to engage in a collaboration of other poets and in the arts!
