This January, RHPL presents a three-part programming series on caregiving, kicking off on Thursday, January 8, at 7 p.m. with a visit from New York Times bestselling author Catherine Newman.

Rochester Hills Public Library and Paint A Miracle invite the public to attend the opening reception of the new art exhibit, Painted Pups. The reception will take place at RHPL on Thursday, November 20, from 6-8 p.m.

Tickets for the 2025 Holiday Home Tour go on sale November 3. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased online at rhpl.org/friends or in person at the Friends of RHPL store during business hours.

The Friends of RHPL is dedicated to building a close relationship between the library and its patrons by promoting library resources, services, and collections. Encouraging community participation in library activities, they raise funds for events and programs and allow librarians to curate the collections patrons want.

A public library is the perfect place to have open, non-judgmental conversations to learn what brings us together, and to challenge what drives us apart.

“A cornerstone of our strategic plan is to offer high-quality programs and help people find ways to connect to their community, entertainment, and education.” Said Juliane Morian, Director of RHPL. “This partnership allows RHPL and the Center for Public Humanities to expand our offerings and provide moments of connection and engagement, two items that are close to our hearts at RHPL.”
