*RHPL just received a communication that this update will now be released in July. This article has been updated to reflect those changes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Coming this summer, a refreshed online account experience at discover.rhpl.org!
Beginning in July, enjoy a new patron account experience designed to make it easier to manage your holds, view checkouts, and keep track of your favorite materials.
Read on to learn more about the changes and see how to use new features.
Instead of clicking on the bottom of the page after you log in to view your bookshelf, everything you need is now conveniently located in the Account Login window.

Your new full-page account view gives an at-a-glance overview of your holds and checkouts. Your Next Read features your available bookmarked titles. No available items? Enjoy recommendations from RHPL librarians.
The menu on the left-hand side of the screen allows you to navigate between the different features of your account.

Click on “Account” to edit your details and access information like your barcode and expiration date.

Under Checkouts & Requests, you can find the items that are checked out and on hold, as well as view your reading history.

You can filter by material type, search through your checkout and request details, and easily sort your items by overdue and due soon.

Click on Bills & Fines to view and pay selected amounts.

From the Bookmarks menu, enjoy a full view of your lists. You can also easily see what books are currently available to check out.

Easily search through your bookmarks, and place holds right inside the list view

And last, but not least, in the improved Saved Search section of your account, you can use the search box to search the titles of your saved searches, and you have an at-a-glance reminder of what the search was. Use the three dots to edit your search name or delete it.

*(The original update was scheduled for March 3 and then May 6. This article has been edited to reflect the new scheduled date. We apologize for the inconvenience.)
