RHPL is set to undergo exciting renovations to ensure your library remains a vibrant, welcoming, and future-ready space.

“RHPL is always trying to find ways to give more, and After Hours Library is a perfect example of how we can enhance library services at little or no cost.” Said Library Director Juliane Morian. “If these programs are successful, we have a chance at investigating more casual extended hours so everyone can use the library when it’s convenient for them.”

Favorite Authors Club is how you can automatically be put on hold for new releases by popular authors. We have a list of 45 bestselling authors. Each time one of the authors releases a new book, we place everyone who has signed up for that author on hold well before the book is even published.

RHPL’s Outreach Services partners with five senior communities to make library materials more accessible. The library’s partners house the mini-branches, while RHPL provides the materials that patrons can check out. The mini-branches’ collections are selected and maintained by Outreach Services, with new books delivered each week.

This summer, enjoy a new patron account experience designed to make it easier to manage your holds, view checkouts, and keep track of your favorite materials.

For the past twenty years, the bookmobile has provided books of all genres to foster literacy in the RHPL service area.

As a Family Place Library™, RHPL provides a welcoming community environment with resources to help families nurture their children's development and early learning during the critical first years of life.

The outreach room provides adult large print reading materials, typically used by senior adults, a selection of magnifiers, and MYLE Kits. But we also provide materials and services to every other age group through our “outreach”. Outreach’s goal is to reach any group that may need assistance in using the library.
