The Human Library works with organizations like RHPL to create safe places to challenge misconceptions about people, promote understanding, and prevent conflict and division. The organization has worked in 85 countries for 25 years, and provides resources to ensure that Human Libraries work in and for their own community.

Together with Flight Path, RHPL empowers residents to participate in data gathering and learn simple, effective ways to protect and enhance the local environment, turning community interest into lasting, meaningful steps that help protect our natural world, now and for the future.

The outreach room provides adult large print reading materials, typically used by senior adults, a selection of magnifiers, and MYLE Kits. But we also provide materials and services to every other age group through our “outreach”. Outreach’s goal is to reach any group that may need assistance in using the library.
