Understanding the dark side of AI can help us use AI in a safe and effective way. Remember, knowledge is power, especially when it comes to new technology!  Even if you are resistant to using AI it is important to know where and how it is being used. 

BoB (Books on Board), RHPL’s mini bookmobile, visits seven senior residences weekly throughout our service community. Outreach staff bring library services into the senior residences via book carts and laptops. This personalized interior service is known as a lobby stop.

Rochester Hills Public Library and Paint A Miracle invite the public to attend the opening reception of the new art exhibit, Painted Pups. The reception will take place at RHPL on Thursday, November 20, from 6-8 p.m.

Tickets for the 2025 Holiday Home Tour go on sale November 3. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased online at rhpl.org/friends or in person at the Friends of RHPL store during business hours.

Both nutmeg and mace come from the fragrant nutmeg tree (Myristica fragrans), an evergreen tree native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. The tree grows in tropical areas and has been cultivated in South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Caribbean, and South America.
